Punta Ala
Exclusive tourist resort, popular during summer, Punta Ala is located on top of a promontory at the eastern side of the Gulf of Follonica. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, the city is known for its tranquillity, the large golf course and the tourist port.
In its water are often organized regattas and sailing competitions of international importance that bring many fans on the beach.
All around the town there is a pine mediterranean forest: a peculiarity of the coast of Maremma. Gathered between the crystal clear sea and the sparkling green of the vegetation, Punta Ala is a truly corner of paradise: from the promenade by the sea to the gardens and the berths in the marina.
